It is basically just a large rectangle of cotton, but I’ve used it as a towel, as a picnic or beach blanket, scarf against the cold, shawl against the sun (or to go into churches), blanket on long coach journeys, dress or skirt when I’ve been swimming. Oh, and folded up to make a pillow.
