Meet Toni White and Her Eurohike Womens Revolution

This post is part of a series in which ladies on the road offer a review of their backpack. Today’s review is from Toni White who has traveled in Africa, Asia, and Europe. As a gal who love s Australia, I can’t wait to hear about her upcoming adventures!

Toni WhiteI’m Toni, a 20-something UK solo female backpacker travelling around Asia and Africa.

I’m currently living in the UK saving up for Australia and New Zealand at the end of next year!

What’s your backpack brand and model?

Eurohike Womens Revolution 50 litre – specifically designed for women and to be waterproof.

How much does this backpack typically cost?

It normally retails at £65 but I got it for £25 as the shop was closing down ;)

How long have you had your backpack and where have you traveled with it?

Only 2 years…I bought it just a few weeks before I was due to fly out to Asia for three months and since then it has also made its way around Africa and a few local trips because it’s so comfortable.

What factors were most important to you in choosing a backpack? How did you come to choose this one?

I have a weak back so I wanted a strong support system with the straps etc; it helped that it was a toploading pack too meaning it would spread the weight evenly.  The most convincing reason, however, was the fact that it wasn’t expensive which many backpacks are.

What do you like most about your backpack? Any down sides?

It would be easier to say what I don’t like about it which is, nothing!  It has lots of small pockets, top and front access to the main compartment and a built in water cover.  It’s also light blue and black which helps spot it in the crowds!

Tell us about the fit and comfort level of your backpack.

It fits my height and shape really well so I find it really comfortable even when it’s heavy and because it’s top-loading, I don’t knock anyone out when I turn around and it doesn’t pull me down…no one wants to end up on the floor looking like a turtle that can’t get up!

If you want to take your backpack as carry-on luggage, can you?

I’m a woman with 50l of space…what do you think?! haha. That would be a big, fat no!

Have you found the size to be too small, just right, or too large?

I actually love the size if I’m honest…big enough to pack all my essentials but not overbearing; it’s a very easy backpack to get along with!

Overall, would you recommend your backpack?

I’d definitely recommend it!  As I said, there isn’t anything I don’t like about it.  So user (and woman) friendly!

Thanks for giving us some info about your backpack, Toni!
